Traditional Chinese Medicine

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) (Initial 90 minute session, $115) - Traditional Chinese Medicine is one of the oldest forms of medicine in the world, originating in China more than 3,000 years ago. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, or TCM, your health is determined by the quality of the Qi (energy) and blood flow through the natural pathways of your body.

Acupuncture (60 minute follow up, $85. 90 minute follow up, $130) - Currently one of the most thoroughly researched and respected forms of complementary medicine available, acupuncture is the insertion of single use, stainless steel needles to stimulate the flow of Qi and blood, affecting the circulatory, neurological, endocrine and biomagnetic systems in the body.

TuiNa - (included in 90 minute Acupuncture follow-up) Tui Na is a form of hands-on bodywork that is based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. TuiNa and acupuncture together can treat both the physical (musculature) and energetic (Qi) levels of your body at the same time.

Chinese Medicinal Herbs - (45 minute Consultation, $50. Can be Included in Acupuncture Follow Up. Herbs sold Separately) Traditional Chinese herbal therapy uses an extensive list of naturally occurring substances — including plants — in specific combinations tailored to the individual patient to enhance health and vitality. We only prescribe high-quality, professional-grade herbal medicines that are available only through qualified licensed professionals.

Cupping (30 minute group session, $30. Can be Included in 90 minute Acupuncture follow up) - Cupping can relieve aches and pains, improve circulation, help with digestive and respiratory problems. We use plastic or glass suction cups to draw skin and fascia into the cups. It draws fresh blood to that area of your body, which facilitates improved Qi and blood circulation and a healing response.

Moxibustion - (Can be Included in Acupuncture Follow up) Moxibustion involves the burning of mugwort, a small, spongy herb, to facilitate healing and relieve pain. Moxibustion strengthens the blood, stimulates the flow of Qi (energy), and enhances your overall vitality and health. It has also been used to help turn breech babies!

ElectroAcupuncture (e-stim) - (Can be Included in Acupuncture follow up) Two acupuncture needles are attached to a microcurrent device that generates continuous electrical pulses through the tissue between the needles using alligator clips. The practitioner can adjust the frequency and intensity of the electrical impulse, depending on the condition being treated. Several pairs of needles can be stimulated simultaneously.

Auricular Acupuncture - (45 minute group session, $45. Can be Included in Acupuncture follow up) Needles are inserted onto the surface of the outer ear for treatment of various conditions throughout the entire body.
