Private One-on-One Healing Yoga

This One on One Yoga class is for those who have always wanted to try yoga, but felt too shy or uncomfortable to join a group class. This private, one-on-one class allows you to try yoga at any age, and any level of fitness and flexibility. It is also perfect for those who want to tailor their yoga practice to address personal goals, including some Reiki or Coaching, perfect for injuries, mental chatter, and unique schedules.

Yoga for Kids

Primarily for children ages 8-12. This class is intended to help kids ground and center their minds and bodies after the school day, as well as develop physical flexibility, strength and confidence, inner and outer kindness, and essential relaxation skills in today's fast-paced and technology driven society..

Adult Yoga

Any combination of Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative or Yin Yoga, as suits the needs of the participants of the class.

Yoga for ADD/ADHD in Adults and Adolescents

The practice of yoga combines self-awareness with exercise, and promotes a mind-body connection. It is also a great way to improve focus, mood, relaxation and attention — which those with ADD/ADHD struggle with. Yoga helps to decrease pent-up energy and impulsivity, is relaxing and creates a quieting of the mind. Yoga can help balance the production of neurotransmitters in the brain and reduce stress levels and anxiety.

Prenatal Yoga Class

Yoga specifically geared for the different shape and center of gravity of pregnant women, and specially modified for the common aches and pains of pregnancy, keeping in mind the increased elasticity of the pregnant body.

Seated Yoga

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair, or standing using a chair for support. It provides a unique opportunity to find deeper well-being through exploration of gentle postures, breath work, meditation and deep relaxation. This healing, calming and energizing practice can be incorporated throughout your work day and is also particularly beneficial if you find it uncomfortable to get onto or off of the floor or have difficulty with standing and balance.

Body Meditation

Using stretch and movement techniques and melding them with energy medicine principles and exercises, this class will help you to become profoundly aware of your body. By focusing deeply on individual muscles and joints and their relationships, students gain an understanding that will improve posture, increase flexibility, and create well-being. Body centered visualizations and meditations help integrate the balance and stability gained in class.

Movement Therapy

Release and rediscover the freedom of movement you had as a child with the awareness, sophistication and sensuality of your adult self. This class is a unique combination of internationally-derived movement techniques and practices that help you rediscover your natural grace and ease while connecting to your full Subtle Body (chakras and more), while opening the power of your creative imagination. This work has been taught all over the world to professional dancers and to severely handicapped participants who have all come away in awe of their body and mind's full potential. This class is deeply relaxing, occasionally challenging in fun and fruitful ways, a safe place to bring your whole self and discover your body's innate wisdom and miracles.

Join us for a relaxing start to your busy day. Reconnect the body and mind to reduce stress and anxiety. Learn transformative strategies to focus and quiet your mind, relax your body and connect your mind, body, and breath.

Evening Meditation

Join us for a relaxing end to your busy day. Reconnect the body and mind to reduce stress and anxiety through breathing mindfully and giving attention to the body. These meditations will include directed breathing, body scanning, and accessing connection through compassion practices.

Mindfulness Meditation Training

This Mindfulness Meditation program meets once a week over eight weeks for 60 minutes. Participants will engage in the basics of mindfulness starting with how attention to the body changes how we relate to it. We will move through thoughts, emotions, and how all of these components of experience are connected. Wear comfortable clothes and bring sneakers. We will sometimes meet outdoors.

Energy Medicine for Beginners  

Energy Medicine is rooted in indigenous and eastern health practices and disciplines such as acupuncture, yoga, and qigong and correlates with much of current western medicine’s understanding of the body’s systems. However, Energy Medicine speaks to the spiritual part of our existence as well, helping us to integrate emotional healing with physical healing. This introductory class will introduce you to the concepts that are the basis of Energy Medicine. You will leave the class with exercises to help reduce anxiety and stress and increase vitality.

Healing Crystals & Stones - A Beginners’ Guide 

Crystals are all around us and often we are drawn to specific stones. Do you want to know why a certain stone calls to you? Would you like to understand which crystal might help in a certain situation? This is a class for those that have an affinity to these mineral gifts from the Earth and want to learn more. We will explore healing traditions, care of crystals, vibrational emanations, and learn which stones balance individual chakras. Stones will be available for purchase at a nominal fee to continue the exploration at home.
